The Tidewater Afghan Hound Club will be auctioning off this stunning
Afghan Hound figurine by Shelly Firsich of Afghan Hound Originals
during our Saturday night banquet.
The figurine is approximately 9 inches long made of clay, baked and then hand painted.
The hair is real Afghan Hound Hair from retired Australian Afghans and on this
piece
is approximately 10 plus inches long. The hair is hand applied to the clay body.
Once a metal comb is initially run through the coat, it requires very little attention.
The combing
will remove any dust and is recommended once every 6 months. It only needs
a few strokes with the comb. No brushing is required. The upkeep is very simple and easy.
Bidding by e-mail or by telephone is now open for this Beautiful real hair
Afghan Hound. Bidding by e-mail or telephone will end on March 11, 2010
at 6:00 PM. After
that date and time, no bids will be accepted unless you are
attending
the
Tidewater
Afghan Hound Club Specialty dinner on March 13th.
We will need your opening bid and your maximum bid. I will have agents bidding
for
you at the dinner and will only increase your bids by $10 over the current
floor
bid
until
we reach your maximum bid. At no point will they bid your maximum
unless
the
floor bid is up to it. If your maximum bid is below the floor bid, you are
out of
the running.
None of the agents will have anyone's information until the night of
the
dinner,
that
will keep any inside information from being revealed to another bidder.
Only I will have the bidding information for those not in attendance.
